The estimated fees relate to the programme of works described in the proposal and are valid for 90 days from date of issue. Should the programme be varied significantly once the brief is agreed, or at the client’s request, then we reserve the right to amend our estimate of fees accordingly. This will also be the case if there are substantial author’s corrections, delays in the receipt of instructions, copy or approvals, and/or the necessity for considerable amounts of work to be carried out outside normal working hours.
Outside costs are not included in the fees and are charged additionally. Such costs include couriers, photography, illustration, printing, and studio materials such as sample setting and colour prints. Estimates for outside costs may be provided for general budgetary purposes prior to design work being completed, but such estimates are only regarded as a guide. General out-ofpocket expenses incurred during the project are charged in addition, as is VAT.
Late payment may incur additional charges as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
The client agrees to exercise due diligence in its direction to us regarding preparation of materials and must be able to substantiate all claims and representations. You are responsible for all trademarks, service mark, copyright and patent infringement clearances. You are also responsible
for arranging, prior to publication, any necessary legal clearance of materials we prepare.
Client feedback
When an initial design has been submitted the client agrees to provide feedback (and revisions) to WDC Agency within 2 working days.
When inner page designs are submitted the client agrees to provide feedback (and revisions) to WDC Agency within 2 working days.
Programming bugs must be submitted in a timely manner and within 28 days of the site going live. Technical issued raised after this time may incur additional costs.
Any delays in feedback outside the allocated times mentioned above could cause a delay in the overall delivery of your project.
Delivery schedule
WDC Agency will carry out the delivery of this web site in a professional manner and shall endeavour to deliver according with the attached proposal no later than the time frame indicated above. The client needs to acknowledge, however, that this delivery deadline is an estimate, and can be altered by external factors, parties before further work proceeds. Author’s alterations and other copy changes requested after layouts or mechanicals are completed are billed at standard hourly rates.
When we present the initial draft of each stage you will need to compile one document of revisions. As long as these revisions fall under the agreed scope of works they will be completed free of charge.
Any additional changes or changes submitted after this document has been supplied will be billed at our standard development rate of £115 hour. including the client’s delivery of feedback, relevant content Every effort will be made to maintain the strictest confidence concerning any material, plans or policies designated as confidential which are divulged to us in the course of our relations with a client. All our employees are under contract which protects our clients against any divulgence of confidential
information.
Unless a buy-out fee is negotiated, the copyright for illustration and photography is vested with the supplier whilst the intellectual copyright in the project’s design will remain vested in us at all times.
Costs will be invoiced at individual stages and at final completion of the project. We would ask that the initial invoice be settled upon receipt of issue date and subsequent invoices should be settled within 30 days. All goods and services remain the property of WDC Agency Ltd until settlement.
Design recognition
WDC Agency will place a small link at the bottom footer of your site acknowledging that we designed the site. Removal of this element is strictly forbidden, unless prior agreement is reached.
